Anna Olson
Food Network host Anna Olson
Whitecap Books in support of the KidSafe Writers’ Room presents:
SPEAKING OF TASTE BUDS, the Art of Food Writing

Featuring an accomplished panel of Canadian food writers, this fundraiser was both informative and delicious! On the panel were Food Network host Anna Olson, Globe and Mail restaurant critic Alexandra Gill, and editor and founder of Scout Magazine Andrew Morrison. With canapés and bar service provided by Wescadia Catering.

All proceeds went directly to the KidSafe Writers’ Room, a charitable program that works with inner-city kids in East Vancouver to build lifelong literacy skills through creative writing projects, tutoring and mentorships. Writers’ Room volunteer tutors provide one-on-one support so that each child receives the attention that he or she deserves.

Hosted by Taryn Boyd of the Literary Press Group of Canada.
